1st Round

Chicago Bears – Caleb Williams (QB, Southern California)

The Bears finally went out and made the right decision to get rid of Justin Fields. The Bears are in a once in a lifetime position drafting at #1 while not actually being the worst team in the league. The acquisitions of both Keenan Allen and Deandre Swift show that the Bears are serious about trying to win now and adding Caleb Williams on a rookie contract could be the perfect storm for the Bears.

Washington Redskins – Jayden Daniels (QB, Louisiana State)

A lot of drama surrounding the #2 pick this year. Rumors are that Jayden Daniels wants nothing to do with the Redskins and if it were up to him he would end up in Oakland. Unfortunately for the young man, that is not how the NFL works and I believe the Redskins will end up selecting him if they decide to stay at this spot and not trade back.

New England Patriots – Drake Maye (QB, North Carolina)

Drake Maye makes the most sense here to the Patriot’s as Robert Kraft is desperate to separate himself from Belichick/Brady. Maye is only 21 years old and still has his best football ahead of him.

Arizona Cardinals – Marvin Harrison Jr. (WR, THE Ohio State)

Ohio State’s Marvin Harrison Jr. was an extremely productive receiver at tOSU racking up 2,613 yards and 31 touchdowns on 155 receptions during his time with the Buckeyes. Arizona is still looking for a true #1 WR and with Kyler Murray just coming into his massive contract they are stuck with him. Look for Arizona to take MHJ here and hope they get Larry Fitzgerald 2.0. Other options would be Joe Alt (OT Notre Dame) or Olumuyiwa Fashanu (OT Penn State).

San Diego Chargers – Joe Alt (OT, Notre Dame)

San Diego took a major step back in 2023 and Brandon Staley lost his job because of it. Jim Harbaugh has been adamant about needing offensive line help. Although they need an upgrade at almost every position, San Diego looks to take the best OT in the draft in Joe Alt. Alt is a future 10+ year starter at LT and provides Justin Herbert and the San Diego Chargers the blind side protection they need from day 1. Would not be surprised to see Brock Bowers go here either.

New York Football Giants – Olumuyiwa Fashanu (OT, Penn State)

The Giants get a much needed upgrade at the LT position. Fashanu looks to be a long term starter with elite athleticism for the LT position. Another possible pick is Malik Nabers (WR Louisiana State).

Tennessee Titans – Malik Nabers (WR, Louisiana State)

The Titans are in complete rebuild mode as they bring in Bill Callahan’s son Tommy (Brian) to be their new head coach. They still might have something in last year’s second round pick Will Levi’s so they decide to go out and get a weapon for him to get the ball to. Nabers is a strong route runner who has the speed to take the top off a defense. His only real weakness comes when DB’s attempt to get physical with him.

Atlanta Falcons – Dallas Turner (EDGE, Alabama)

Team KKJ feels that the Falcon’s have solidified their offense with the offseason addition of Kirk Cousins. It is now time for them to go out and get a defensive playmaker. We feel strongly that will be Alabama pass rush specialist Dallas Turner.

Turner is a dynamic pass rusher with incredible upside who has drawn comparisons to Brian Burns.

Chicago Bears – Rome Odunze (WR, Washington)

The Chicago Bears have had a phenomenal offseason. Cutting ties with Justin Fields was the best decision they could have possibly made. Going out and solidifying the offense with Deandre Swift and Keenan Allen were great moves by GM Ryan Poles. If they stay here at 9, they decide to bolster their offense even more by drafting Rome Odunze out of Washington

New York Jets – Brock Bowers (TE, Georgia)

The Jets made major moves in free agency by signing Tyron Smith. They even got Mike Williams to pair with Garrett Wilson. This opens the door for the Jets to get another dynamic playmaker for Aaron Rodgers to throw to.

Minnesota Vikings – JJ McCarthy (QB, Michigan)

Rumors are everywhere that the Vikings are going to trade up to get JJ McCarthy. Even at 11, it is our opinion that JJ is going way too high. Our team at KKJ has a 3rd round rating on the QB out of Michigan and see his future as a plus backup.

Denver Broncos – Jared Verse (EDGE, Florida State)

The Broncos are in a weird spot with the QB position but it is way too early to take anyone currently available at the position. The Broncos need help along the defensive line and go out and get the best player available in Jared Verse.

Oakland Raiders – Quinyon Mitchell (CB, Toledo)

Despite still being very raw, Mitchell has incredible upside that could put him in the first round. At 6-0, 196 pounds he is a good fit for the Raider secondary.

New Orleans Saints – JC Latham (OT, Alabama)

Originally from Wisconsin, Latham moved to IMG during high school. The unanimous 5 star recruit played in 14 games as a freshman only giving up 2 QB hurries and 2 QB hits with 0 sacks. Having been the starter at RT each of the last two years, he has earned the right to be named one of the top tackles in this year’s class..

Indianapolis Colts – Cooper DeJean (CB Iowa)

Coop gives the Colts some much needed help at the CB position. Not only is he great in coverage but he provides a lot of help in the return game as well. His pro day provided GM’s across the league with some much needed reassurance about his fibula as well.

Seattle Seahawks – Jackson Powers-Johnson (C Oregon)

The Seahawks lost 3 OL to free agency this year. Power-Johnson provides some much needed help across the o-line. An elite interior offensive line prospect, Powers-Johnson has started at both guard and center. He was arguably the most dominant offensive player during Senior Bowl practices, showing off plus athleticism at 6-3, 328 pounds.

Jacksonville Jaguars – Terrion Arnold (CB, Alabama)

The Jags badly need an upgrade at corner. They were absolutely terrible against the pass last year and Arnold is the best CB on the board at this spot.

Cincinnati Bengals – Amarius Mims (OT, Georgia)

Amarius Mims is an absolute monster. With Jonah Williams departing for Arizona in free agency, the RT position has been left wide open. Mims is 6-8, 340 pounds and ran a 5.07 40 yard dash. He is an athletic freak that should be a stalwart on the Bengals OL for years to come. Oh yeah, he has a 7-1 wingspan as well.

St. Louis Rams – Laiatu Latu (EDGE, UCLA)

Now the pick everyone has been waiting for. Bottom line, St. Louis needs help at the EDGE position as they had the second lowest pass rush win rate in the league. Now that the most dominant player in the history of the NFL has retired, that need has become even more apparent. The Lombardi award winner adds to an already talented and young St. Louis defense that is ready to take the next step in 2024. Latu is a dangerous pass rusher with incredible athleticism and a strong frame.

Pittsburgh Steelers – Kool-Aid McKinstry (CB, Alabama)

McKinstry wasn’t tested often in 2023 after his breakout season in 2022. Kool-Aid brings excellent patience and awareness in coverage to consistently stay with top wide receivers.

Miami Dolphins – Jer’Zhan Newton (DT, Illinois)

The Dolphins signed seven defensive tackles this offseason after losing Christian Wilkins in free agency, but they all won’t make the roster. Newton gives Miami a running mate for Zach Sieler on the defensive line, and he can create interior pressure and defend against the run. Graham Barton was tempting here, but the Dolphins can still address offensive guard in the second round.

Philadelphia Eagles – Ennis Rakestraw JR. (CB, MIZZOU)

Ennis Rakestraw has fantastic overall athleticism for the CB position. Where he lacks is strength but that is something he can easily add once he’s in an NFL weight program. After storming onto the scene as a true freshman in 2020 and starting in all 10 games his 2021 sophomore season was derailed by injuries. Rakestraw was able to return in 2023 and assert himself as one of Mizzou’s top corners.

Minnesota Vikings – Taliese Fuaga (OT, Oregon State)

As was evident when they played the Ravens, Houston needs help along the offensive line. Mims is the best tackle available at this point.

Dallas Cowboys – Troy Fautanu (OT, Washington)

After the loss of longtime LT Tyron Smith, the Cowboys need help along the OL. In this scenario, they take the best tackle on our big board in Troy Fautanu. The 6’4” LT was a volleyball player in high school and has the athleticism to be a future stalwart for the Cowboys.

Green Bay Packers – Tyler Guyton (OT, Oklahoma)

Green Bay is expected to lose longtime starter David Bakhtiari and will need to replace him. In the final version of our mock draft, the Packers select Tyler Guyton, OT, Oklahoma. Guyton is raw (only 14 starts and 21 total games played), but there aren’t many offensive linemen who have a better athletic mold. He has starting-caliber NFL gifts but must eliminate negatives in both the run and pass games to succeed at the next level.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers – Troy Franklin (WR Oregon)

At 6’3” 187, Franklin has the elite size and elite speed to succeed at the next level. He is not your prototypical downfield burner. While he can take the top off any defense, he also has the quick feet and detailed route running to excel as a WR1 in the NFL. He will be the perfect complement opposite Mike Evans and another weapon for Baker Mayfield.

Arizona Cardinals – TJ Tampa (CB Iowa State)

Tampa has elite size for the CB position standing at 6’2” 200 pounds. The Cardinals need help in their secondary and they look to the former Cyclone here at 27.

Buffalo Bills – Brian Thomas Jr. (WR Louisiana State)

Thomas is the perfect replacement for the loss of Diggs to Houston. Thomas offers a good combination of size and speed to push the ball vertically, demanding safeties respect his side of the field.

Detroit Lions – Chop Robinson (Penn State)

Demeioun “Chop” Robinson might have the best combination of get-off and bend in this class. He’s quick off the ball and very flexible in his bottom half. The Lions look to add some pass rush help opposite of Aidan Hutchinson.

Baltimore Ravens – Cooper Beebe (OG, Kansas State)

Beebe has the makeup to be a long term starter in a downhill, run heavy scheme. He may never be an all pro but the Ravens will get 10 years out of him.

San Francisco 49ers – Darius Robinson (EDGE, MIZZOU)

Darius Robinson certainly looks the part of an NFL defensive lineman. He has an impressive build and can even add some size if a team wants him to play inside more often. Robinson’s game is rooted in power. Against the run, he’s quick to get his hands up and has the strength to stand up offensive tackles at the line of scrimmage. He has little to no problems setting the edge and can stop pullers in their tracks as the force player in run fits to make the running back bounce outside.
